TWICE‘s Jihyo and IU are both powerhouse vocalists, and they both have incredible fashion sense!
Here are 3 times they wore the same exact dress but served totally different vibes!
1. Pretty in plaid
Jihyo and IU wore the same red plaid dress from Current Mood. The dress came with suspenders.
Jihyo made the dress look a bit more preppy by layering a long-sleeve, lacy white shirt underneath it. Jihyo wore the dress during TWICE’s promotions for “YES or YES.”
Meanwhile, IU leaned into the dress’s sexy, rocker vibes. She didn’t layer anything underneath the dress, and she wore it with black thigh-high boots. She also wore the dress with the included matching choker. IU wore the dress during her 2018 concert tour.
This dress really proves that styling can drastically change an outfit!
2. Gorgeous in Gucci
IU and Jihyo both wore the same Gucci dress. The off-white linen dress was covered in red and white sailboats.
Jihyo posed for Instagram photos in the Gucci dress. She accessorized her look with long, dangly earrings and wore her hair down. Her look was flirty and fun while still showing off her mature side. It would’ve been perfect for a day at the boat races!
IU wore the same Gucci dress to an interview. She also wore dangly earrings, but she wore her hair tied back. She also wore dainty gold rings on her fingers. IU’s look was a bit more business-like than Jihyo’s look. She would have fit right into a board room meeting as a cool, trendy CEO!
3. Fabulous in floral
Jihyo and IU wore the same beautiful floral dress by Zimmermann. This off-the-shoulder mini dress is the epitome of summer fashion!
Jihyo wore the dress to the 2019 M2 x Genie Music Awards. She accessorized with a cute silver bracelet and silver earrings. She finished off the look with tan high-heeled sandals. Jihyo looked like a summer goddess in this dress!
IU wore the same dress as Jang Man Wol on Hotel del Luna. Jang Man Wol is a very moody and fashionable ghost, and IU put a less summery spin on the dress to match her character’s vibe. She wore the Zimmermann dress with nude pumps, a vintage-inspired hairstyle, and a red leather handbag. While Jihyo’s styling of the dress looked modern and summery, IU’s styling of it as Jang Man Wol made her look like a retro fashionista!
