ZEROBASEONE (also known as ZB1) has made their anticipated comeback with “YURA YURA (Flower of Fate),” the group’s first original J-Pop single.
The MV is a fun, colorful video that showcases each member’s talents. While the aesthetic perfectly suits the lighthearted single, fans noticed many details and references to other content. For example, the butterfly mirrors the “In Bloom” MV.

Most fans also agreed that the high school aesthetic, including the members in uniforms, was very Ouran High School Host Club-esque.

Yet, the uniforms likely weren’t inspired by this popular manga-turned-anime. It’s presumably a nod to Mnet‘s Boys Planet, as they had uniforms for the show.

ZEROSES also pointed out how the music video mirrors the finale in some ways, from Kim Jiwoong looking at all his members to everyone waiting for Han Yujin—they believe this scene in the music video to be a recreation of the moment Yujin ranked 9th place and was announced as the final member of the group’s lineup.

Ahgases (also known as iGOT7, GOT7‘s fandom) also pointed out that some dance scenes were filmed on a set similar to GOT7’s “NANANA” MV. Knowing Zhang Hao is a huge Ahgase himself, they love it! It radiates the same good vibes.
