Raheem Mostert entered the 2023 NFL season with 19 total touchdowns to his name.
He has more than doubled that mark in his second season with the Dolphins.
Mostert scored two touchdowns in the first half of Miami’s Week 15 matchup with the Jets as he continued to build upon his career-best season. His first came on a third-down run to the left during which he outleveraged the New York defense.

Mostert’s second score was similar to the first. This time, he took a toss play to the left and was able to waltz into the end zone untouched.

The touchdowns were Mostert’s 19th and 20th of the NFL season. He now is the Dolphins’ single-season touchdown leader and will have a few weeks to continue to build on that record.

Most rushing touchdowns in a season
Mostert has scored 18 rushing touchdowns (and counting) during the 2023 NFL season. That has only been achieved 25 times in NFL history.
However, Mostert still has a ways to go before he can rival the NFL’s single-season rushing touchdowns leader. That record belongs to Hall of Famer LaDanian Tomlinson, who scored a whopping 28 times on the ground during the 2006 season.

Most total touchdowns in a season
Tomlinson is also the NFL’s single-season total touchdowns leader, as he recorded 31 total during the 2006 season, adding three receiving touchdowns to his 28 on the ground.
Mostert has 20 total touchdowns which is tied for the 22nd-most in NFL history. That feat has only been achieved 19 times since 2000, so his performance is certainly impressive.
