Being famous is a double-edged sword. It can bring opportunities, wealth, and acclaim, but also unwanted attention. For one star, that attention became too much.
After competing in the show Produce Camp 2019 as an idol trainee, Chinese star Yu Cheng En went on to debut as an actor that same year.
As his career blossomed, his popularity sky-rocketed, and with many new projects on the way, it looks like Yu Cheng En will continue to rise in 2025.
Unfortunately, that success has come at a price: his privacy. Recently, Yu Cheng En was followed around Shanghai during his personal time by an alleged sasaeng (stalker fan). Though Yu Cheng En asked her to stop recording him several times, she persisted.
Eventually, Yu Cheng En lashed out at the alleged stalker by trying to smack the phone out of her hands. As his bodyguards intervened, Yu Cheng En continued to shout at the person to stop recording him.
The incident went viral on social media and made the news in China.
