On January 16, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung appeared on Dex’s YouTube series.
After their greeting, Dex couldn’t help but be shocked by her beauty.
For the show, there was a rule to have Dex and the guest talk informally without using honorifics.
Dex: We have to talk informally here. I think it’s going to be hard for me.
Jang Wonyoung: I’m pretty good at talking informally.
Dex was also surprised at how long she’s had a career in the industry.
Dex: You were born in 2004, right? How long has it been since you debuted?
Jang Wonyoung: Since it’s the new year, I’m 22 now. I debuted in 2018, so it’s been eight years.
Dex: You are truly a senior sunbaenim.
Regarding their age difference, Dex confessed he tried hard to look as young as possible.
When I make friends, I like unni’s or people older than me so I hope you don’t think too hard about it.

Dex also revealed his first impression of meeting Jang Wonyoung.
“I think she is similar to me. I thought the same thing when I saw her. I felt that because she was a top star at such a young age, too much love and attention may have been hard for her, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I felt that she might be enjoying it, too.
I thought meeting her would be like having a conversation between a nephew and an uncle, but it was totally different.”
