Actress Kim Min Hee (42) is becoming a mother and will give birth this year. The father is film director Hong Sang Soo (64).
Kim Min Hee became pregnant naturally and discovered they were expecting last summer. As she is in the late stages of pregnancy, her due date is expected to be this spring.
The couple currently live together in Hanam, after Hong moved out of his house in Apgujeong, where he lived with his wife.
Dispatch obtained photos of the couple’s daily life last year as they enjoyed a date and went grocery shopping. It was revealed that Kim Min Hee drove while Hong Sang Soo sat in the passenger seat. Hong has also started driving lessons again, seemingly preparing for Kim Min Hee post-partum.
On January 15, the two were spotted together at the OB/GYN. Hong Sang Soo stayed by her side for the examination and checkup and didn’t seem to care about the people looking at him.
The two have been in an affair for nine years after they met on set in 2015. They admitted to having an affair in 2017.
Hong Sang Soo married a non-celebrity in 1985, whom he met while studying abroad in the States. He abandoned his family and daughter and has been living with Kim Min Hee for nine years.
