BLACKPINK‘s Rosé tells the story of her first Met Gala in 2021 when she accidentally met Rihanna.
Rosé was asked if she could wait a few minutes before taking short form content and pictures by staff. The reason? Rihanna and A$ AP Rocky were currently getting their own photos taken!
Soon after, she sees Rihanna in her glamorous look from the event. As she was watching it all happen, she wondered if she was even allowed to be there.
A photographer asked if she was a fan of Rihanna — and of course, her answer was yes! However, when he asked if she wanted to meet Rihanna, she said no as to not be a burden.
However, Rihanna ended up walking near her and the photographer took the moment to point out Rosé to her. This lead to the sweetest interaction.
Rihanna took Rosé’s hands and gave her nothing but praise before hugging her.
The experience was so iconic for Rosé that she didn’t want to wash her hands!
