Popular Youtuber and TV personality Dex has announced that his YouTube channel will go on hiatus.
His agency, Kick The Huddle Studio released an English statement on his YouTube channel.

Hello, subscribers. It’s Kick the Huddle Studio. First, We would like to thank the fans who love our artists. Our Dex’s YouTube channel [DEX101] wants to have a short break after December 2, 2024. The DEX101 channel has been doing its best despite its busy schedule for four years. So, we decided to reorganize our channel internally through the breaks. Resting is not to stop, but to show better performance in the future, so please understand with your generosity. We will come back with a better appearance after the break.”

They also revealed that there have been many cases of unauthorized use of his broadcasts (portrait rights, name rights, photos, edits, etc) both online and offline. The agency emphasized that they would take legal action as all videos featuring Dex are protected by copyright law.
Please take down all unauthorized works by December 10, 2024. Otherwise, we will take legal action against any works copied thereafter.

Lastly, they revealed they were aware of the sasaengs invading his privacy through monitoring and reports from fans.
We will take strong action against stalking crimes that continue to invade his privacy, such as taking photos and videos without permission and following them during their personal time.

With the sudden news, fans left messages of support and hoped he would take as much time off as he needed.
