Actor Park Bo Gum sustained a minor injury while filming the JTBC series Good Boy. His agency, The Black Label, reported the incident on August 28.
The incident reportedly occurred during the shooting of an action sequence for the K-Drama.
Park is currently undergoing treatment for his injury. As a result, the production team has decided to pause filming temporarily to allow for his recovery. Filming is said to resume once his condition improves.
Good Boy centers on the story of Yoon Dong Joo (played by Park Bo Gum) — a former Olympic medalist turned police officer — and his colleague Ji Han Ha (portrayed by Kim So Hyun). Together, they navigate a world rife with corruption and injustice. The drama is directed by Shim Na Yeon, known for The Good Bad Mother (2023), and written by Lee Dae Il, the writer of Chief of Staff (2019).
Park Bo Gum’s role in the series being that of Yoon Dong Joo, an officer in a specialized crime unit, explains the action sequence being filmed. The series also stars Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok. Good Boy is slated to air in the latter half of this year.
