Actor Ji Soo, who had put his career on pause four years ago due to school bullying controversies, has hinted that he will be making a return to the industry soon.
On August 24, KST, Ji Soo uploaded a vlog titled “The End of Tunnel” on his YouTube channel, Jisoo Road.
In the video, the actor recalled the last four years, adding that he had been through many struggles during that period. Looking back at the positives, Ji Soo added, “Anyway, I completed military service,” and mentioned that he had resolved the issues with his past friends who had accused him of bullying as well.
The actor then announced that he was preparing to start his career from scratch again.
Fans have shown their enthusiastic support for the actor’s comeback.
Meanwhile, Ji Soo was embroiled in a bullying controversy in 2021 when allegations against him surfaced online. He had admitted to the accusations but partly, and even apologized through a handwritten letter. He had to step down from the drama Where The River Moon Rises and in May of the same year, he terminated his exclusive contract with KeyEast.
Jisoo enlisted in the military shortly after, and in 2023, he gave an update on the allegations, stating that the original accuser had since forgiven him.
I met with “A” and talked with him for a long time. He thought I ostracized him from the other students because I was close with “B,” a student who was involved in the gift certificate theft. It’s true I was close with “B” at that time. So I think “A” thought I was involved in the incident. We talked about the misunderstandings and we resolved the issue, that I was not involved. It was not something I did, but I apologized because I was close to “B.” I would like to once again apologize to “A” and other school friends that I hurt.

The actor was discharged from the military in October 2023 and has slowly been making his way back in the public eye.
