The 2024 Leagues Cup will be widely accessible for fans across the United States as the joint venture between MLS and Liga MX looks to continue growing its audience.
In its second year under its current, all-encompassing format, the Leagues Cup brings together clubs from the U.S. and Mexico in a knockout-style competition hoping to become the preeminent Cup competition in the region.
Last year, in its inaugural seasons as a full-scale competition, Lionel Messi sensationally led Inter Miami to the club’s first-ever trophy after just joining the MLS side. This season, Messi is battling injury, but the Herons will press on with or without the Argentine great as they look to defend their crown.
There’s plenty of competition from both leagues, and while the entirety of the competition can be viewed with a subscription to MLS Season Pass from Apple TV, fans can also access a large swath of matches for free as the leagues place many games in front of the paywall.
