LE SSERAFIM‘s Kim Chaewon is alleged to have attacked malicious fans in a new cover song.
On June 20, a post titled “LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon’s Cover Song Fighting Fans” went viral.
In the post, a netizen uploaded stills from Kim Chaewon’s recent cover of Ariana Grande’s “We Can’t Be Friends.”
The author of the post then alleged that the lyrics of the songs were meant as a hidden diss towards fans who had been criticizing LE SSERAFIM.
Is she asking us to bury their recent controversies and like her again? The members are still fighting their fans.

Fans reacted to the post by calling out the author as delusional. Many felt the author was going out of their way to cause drama for the idol.
- “The crazies on this site swear girl group members are always attacking them, lol. Why do you think you are so important? Why do you think female celebrities, who are living their best lives, would care enough to attack you? They probably couldn’t care less about you as if you were a bug chirping. You guys are doing too much.”
- “The reach is crazy on this one, lol. It’s just funny.”
- “You just don’t like anything she does.”
- “Can we just listen to the song without reading in so much?”
- “This is such a reach.”
- “This is a breakup song, yet you take out the part where she sings we can’t be friends. You then bring this s*it here and claim she’s attacking you. You really are delusional, lol.”
