“Dancing With the Stars” produced a special episode on Tuesday night, celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary.
With former host Tom Bergeron on hand as a guest judge, the seven remaining contestants duked it out to see who earned a spot in the semifinals. The entire night, though, was all about the past 20 years and 34 seasons of the show.
Jordan Chiles may be the only athlete left in this competition, but she wasn’t the only athlete who danced on the night. After performing her first dance, Chiles teams up with Olympic gold medalist speed skater Apolo Ohno in a relay dance round, as she faced off against Elaine Hendrix and former NFL running back Rashad Jennings.

Both Ohno and Jennings won this show in their respective seasons, two of the many athletes to win the Mirrorball Trophy. Chiles hopes to join them, though, with just a few weeks left in the season.

This week, contestants can earn bonus points in the relay dance round. Each contestant is paired with a former champion instead of their typical partner, and they will go head-to-head against another contestant and former champion at the same time.
Three contestants will earn bonus points, while Whitney Leavitt is immune from the round and already earned her bonus points last week.

Who was eliminated on DWTS?
While Jordan Chiles and Elaine Hendrix were also in the bottom two, it was Andy Richter who was sent home and will not dance in the semifinals.
Less than half of the competitors remain in the competition on “Dancing with the Stars” after Tuesday night. Here is when contestants were eliminated so far:

How does Dancing with the Stars scoring work?
Contestants on “Dancing with the Stars” are scored on a 50/50 scale, half by the judges and the other half by the audience.
Each of the three judges of Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, along with a guest judge score every performance on a scale of 1 to 10, meaning there are a total of 40 points available for each dance. That total is then turned into a Judge’s score percentage, which divides the score by the total number of points awarded by the judges on the night.
The audience portion of the scoring is determined in a similar fashion, each couple gets their audience vote total divided by the total number of audience votes for the night. That Public Vote Percentage is then added to the Judge’s Score Percentage to determine the final score for each contestant.
How to vote for Dancing with the Stars
Fans who want to vote can do so during the live broadcast on the Eastern (ET) and Central (CT) time zones, as the episode usually begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. Audience members can vote up to 10 votes per couple and a maximum of 20 votes per celebrity every week through the ABC website or by text message.
