LAS VEGAS, NV, Sept. 12 — The TSN No. 2 Bishop Gorman [Las Vegas, NV] Gaels will host the East St. Louis [IL] Flyers Friday night. Bishop Gorman is leading, 28-10, in the third quarter.
East St. Louis was ranked in the TSN Top 25 before losing, 22-21, to the Bergen Catholic [Oradell, NJ] Crusaders in their season opener two weeks ago in The Battle at the Beach in Ocean City, New Jersey. They’re still No. 26 in The Sporting News Composite Rankings.
The Flyers will be looking to play spoiler in this one as the No. 2 Gaels are set to play the No. 1 Mater Dei [Santa Ana, CA] Monarchs next week in Las Vegas. Mater Dei has a potential stumbling block Friday night as well at the No. 20 Centennial [Corona, CA] Huskies.
