Norwegion tennis star Casper Ruud is going to be a father.
The 26-year-old tennis player who appeared on the first season of the Netflix sports docuseries “Break Point” announced on Thursday, September 11 that his fiancee, Maria Galligani, is pregnant with a baby girl.
“The team is growing❤️ see you next year babygirl👼🏼” Ruud captioned the post shared to Instagram. alongside several sweet images.
In the first snap, the former world No. 2, who’s currently No.12, wrapped one arm around his his pregnant wife-to-be’s shoulder and placed the other on her growing belly.
In the second photo, the happy couple’s dog can be seen lying on top of a sonogram picture with two small pink booties placed nearby.
The post quickly drew congratulations from Ruud’s fellow ATP Tour stars, including Tommy Paul, Novak Djokovic, and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
Ruud and Galligani, who have been dating since 2018, announced their engagement last November.
In a post shared to IG, Ruud wrote, “Can’t wait to marry you💍🤍,” alongside several romantic photos of the happy couple standing near the ocean.
