GOT7‘s BamBam has departed from ABYSS Company.

In a statement released on February 5, BamBam’s X account for his activities under ABYSS shared that the idol’s contract had expired and that it was mutually decided to end his time under the company.

Hello,
This is Abyss Company.
First, we would like to sincerely thank all Ahgase fans for your love and unwavering support.
Following the expiration of our exclusive contract with artist BamBam, both parties have engaged in thoughtful discussions and mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to BamBam for our time together and will continue to support his future endeavors and new challenges.
We kindly ask for your continued love and support for him moving forward.
Thank you.

BamBam previously expressed some complaints about how his career was being managed under the company, in addition to openly discussing his mental health being affected by his busy schedule.
This gave many a negative opinion on the company, leading them to rejoice over his departure.

Thank you, Abyss! The tour handling may be whacked but you did good in booking him more local gigs that reintroduced him to the korean general public
