Recently, teasers were posted to give fans a glimpse of what to expect from the photobook.
While it’s not uncommon for companies to blur or edit photos to avoid fans taking them without purchasing the product, netizens noticed some awful editing that distorted the members’ faces to the extent that they weren’t recognizable. This included unit shots and pictures of the whole group.
Netizens shared that the post was deleted and that new versions of the photos were later shared.

When the photos were shared on theqoo, netizens hit back at the editing, which they thought was intentional, and criticized HYBE for its treatment of SEVENTEEN, with many wanting the group to leave the company.

- They’re handling this so carelessly. Based on the group’s seniority or career, I don’t think they deserve to be treated like this… If I were a fan, I’d be wishing for them to leave HYBE.
