Netizens believe BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon made a not-so-subtle shoutout to T.O.P.
In a clip for G-Dragon’s upcoming show Good Day, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement, making the video go viral after the idol seemingly referred to T.O.P.
The video showed a close-up of G-Dragon’s hands, with his nails painted a lot of different colors as he was putting on rings.
The idol then mentioned the name “Thanos” before laughing loudly.
While he could have been referring to the Marvel character Thanos because of the rings, the colors of his nails and the way he laughed made netizens think it was a shoutout to T.O.P’s character in Squid Game, who was known for his colored nails to seemingly mimic the ring colors.
After the tweet was posted, it quickly gained attention, with over 18,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
