The post was triggered by the recent health issues Zhou Lusi had been facing, leading her to have issues with her motor skills and drop to low body weight. The actress has kept fans updated with her progress, leaving many hopeful she would be able to return to activities soon.

On January 25, the actress did just this, making her first public appearance since the allegations for an event in China.
At the Viee FM event, Zhou Lusi made a big entrance, riding in on a horse-drawn carriage. Another attendee assisted her in getting out of the cart and then walked with her to part of the stage. Lusi did need the assistance of a cane at one point during the event.

This was already a vast improvement over previous updates, which showed she could only take a few steps with difficulty.
The actress also seemed in good spirits, greeting emotional fans up close and looking gorgeous.

During the event, Zhou Lusi hinted at the issues she faced, but shared that she was looking forward to 2025 and focusing on that instead.
