Recently, Disney released the official trailer for the live action version of Snow White, in theaters March 21.
The film has already run into various criticisms, as shown by the ratio of dislikes to likes: Currently, over 710,000 people dislike the trailer, while only 27,000 pressed “like.”
Some of the reasons netizens have taken issue with the movie include controversy surrounding the lead actress Rachel Zegler. She has faced backlash due to controversial comments about her roles and story’s original plotline. Additionally, she has been the target of heightened scrutiny online due to her ethnicity and visuals.
Korean netizens left comments on a post showcasing the trailer, where many of the comments focused on why the movie is not living up to their standards.
