The Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings released their final injury reports of the week on Friday ahead of their Week 7 matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday. Between the two teams, three players have been ruled out and another seven are questionable.
For the Lions, 2024 sixth-round pick and guard Christian Mahogany will have to wait another week to possibly make his debut. Mahogany has been working his way back from an illness he dealt with during the offseason but continues to make progress after two straight weeks of full practices.
Detroit has two players listed as questionable in cornerback Carlton Davis and guard Kevin Zeitler. Davis is expected to play after turning in a full practice to close out the week, but Zeitler is more up in the air after sitting out on Friday after being limited on Thursday. Jeremy Reisman of Pride of Detroit noted Zeitler was “working at a pretty good pace” off to the side, though.
The Vikings will be missing at least one starter on defense in linebacker Blake Cashman, who was ruled out. Another defensive starter, defensive lineman Harrison Phillips, is questionable.
On offense, both running back Aaron Jones and tight end T.J. Hockenson have a questionable tag. Hockenson was designated to return from the PUP list a few weeks back but it appears he might need another week after turning in only limited sessions. Jones is reportedly “likely” to play.
