The Jets are in for a long plane ride back from London.
New York dropped to 2-3 on the season after the comeback attempt at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium fell short, with the Jets losing 23-17 to the Vikings. Aaron Rodgers and Co. struggled in the first half, failing to get on the scoreboard until the final drive of the second quarter, and the momentum in the second half was not enough to hand Minnesota its first loss of the season.
The 2024 campaign has been a frustrating one for Robert Saleh’s squad. With a healthy Rodgers at quarterback, New York has aspirations of getting to the playoffs for the first time since 2010. There’s still plenty of season left, but the Jets have to get themselves back on track after dropping decisions to the Broncos and Vikings.
The frustration from inside the locker room has begun to boil over into the public. Jets linebacker Quincy Williams did not mince words following the London loss to the Vikings, calling out a lack of accountability within the organization.

What did Williams have to say about the Jets? The Sporting News explains.
What did Quincy Williams say about the Jets?
During a postgame interview with SNY, Williams was asked about the team’s effort to mount a comeback against the Vikings. Down 17-0 at one point, New York managed to make it a one-possession game, but were unable to get over the hump.
Instead of praising the team’s effort in the second half, Williams hinted at the fact that the message within the locker room is beginning to fall on deaf ears.
Quincy Williams to SNY: “I’m going to be honest, people get tired of hearing the same s–t. People gotta start taking accountability. People get tired of hearing the same thing every week. That’s all I got to say.”

“I’m going to be honest, people get tired of hearing the same s—,” Williams said. “People gotta start taking accountability, from the top to the bottom. People get tired of hearing the same thing every week. That’s all I got to say.”
It’s unclear who exactly the quote was directed at. It could be a shot at Saleh and the coaching staff. It could be a dig at the veterans in the locker room leading the organization. It could be a jab at the front office.

Regardless, it’s an incredibly noteworthy quote that Jets fans can certainly relate to. The New York club has failed to reach the postseason for over a decade, despite multiple quarterbacks taken high in the draft.
It doesn’t get easier anytime soon for the Jets. New York is back in action next week with a “Monday Night Football” matchup against the Bills at home. After that, the Jets travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers in Week 7, followed by a road game against the Patriots in Week 8, and then a Week 9 contest at home against the Texans.
