The Bronny James era in Los Angeles is underway.
After taking the floor in purple and gold several times during Summer League action, James is set to make his preseason debut Friday. While James may not take on a large role during his rookie season, he could see extended time during LA’s first exhibition contest of 2024.
In addition to the potential of James making his debut, Friday’s game will be JJ Redick’s first time on a sideline as an NBA head coach and could be the first look at Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo in a Timberwolves uniform.

10:40: The game should tip off soon. It’s worth noting that LeBron James and Anthony Davis will not play in tonight’s game. The Lakers also released their starting lineup, and Bronny is not a starter. But he should play some solid minutes with some of the regular starters seemingly getting some rest.
