Thursday Night Football is, once again, the stage for a pivotal divisional matchup, this time between the Falcons and Buccaneers.
Atlanta is coming off a nail-biting, 26-24 win over New Orleans. The Falcons did little to quell any doubts about the team, however, as the offense didn’t produce a single touchdown during Sunday’s win.
On the other hand, any doubts about the Buccaneers after a shocking, 26-7 loss to the Broncos on Sept. 22 were dispelled after Baker Mayfield’s 347-yard, two-touchdown performance led Tampa Bay to a 33-16 win over Philadelphia.
The win strengthened Tampa Bay’s hold on the division at 3-1. But the Falcons look to crash the party at the top of the division Thursday night. The Sporting News has you covered with all the information you need to watch this crucial matchup.
