The Cowboys defense took a massive hit during “Thursday Night Football” when star DB Trevon Diggs exited the field with an apparent leg injury.
Early in the fourth quarter of a primetime divisional matchup against the Giants, Diggs went down in apparent pain after attempting to make a play on Giants RB Devin Singletary. After he was tended to on the field, Diggs was taken to the locker room by Cowboys training staff.
Diggs returned to the field in 2024 after missing the final 15 games of the 2023 season with a torn ACL suffered in practice.

What is Trevon Diggs’ injury?
While it appeared Diggs went down with a leg injury, he is dealing with dehydration, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer and the TNF broadcast.
After assisting on the tackle, Diggs reached down for his leg, and members of the Amazon broadcast team surmised the DB was dealing with cramps.

Diggs went to the locker room to receive an IV to aid with his lack of fluids. The Giants settled for a field goal on the drive while Diggs out.
