While the intention is to show support following his recent controversy, Korean netizens have a completely different interpretation of the ad.

Netizens took issue with the photo used that seemingly mimics a “drunk blush” and go as far as thinking they are anti-fans.
- “Is this support or mockery?”
- “It looks like mockery to me; his face has a drunk tone.”
- “Is this making fun of him for being drunk?”
- “Is this high-level anti-fan behavior, lol?”
- “Thanks to them, people won’t forget about the drunk driving incident—such positive influence, lol.”
- “Did they choose the picture to insult him subtly?”
- “I laughed as soon as I saw the picture. Isn’t this mockery, lol?”
- “Lol, what is this? He really looks drunk, lol. Are they really fans?”
- “What’s with the picture selection, lol? These fans are like anti-fans.”
- “This has to be mockery, right? Lol.”
- “Drunk blush, wow.”
Many were also concerned that the ad will continue to bring attention to the controversy during what should be a period of quiet reflection.
- “Are they celebrating drunk driving with an ad…?”
- “Ugh, why are they like this? Just go away together.”
- “I don’t think it’s bad enough to leave the fandom, but they’ll get a lot of hate.”
- “Please stop advertising. How much must the artist want to hide?”
- “Ah, this is funny, lol.”
- “Feels like they’re mocking him.”
- “This is the time to quietly reflect, but they keep doing this. Are they real fans? I don’t think so.”
- “Oh no.”
- “Did they pick a photo with a ‘drunk tone’ because he’s a drunk driver?”
- “Even Suga would probably want them to shut up.”
