2PM’s Junho recently shared a frightening experience involving a sasaeng fan who managed to locate his home and nearly break in.
During an appearance on the popular YouTube show Salon Drip 2, Junho discussed the immense love 2PM’s song “My House” has received but also revealed that some fans took the song’s message too far.
The track’s lyrics talk of a man who is strongly attracted to a woman, and he offers to bring her back to his house. It seems that fans too the song’s lyrics too literally.
I’ve sung ‘My House’ in various places, and there were actually people who came to my house.

During his guest appearance on the show, Junho described a particular incident where, after returning home from work, he was alarmed when someone called out “oppa” in the dark just as the elevator doors were opening. Staying calm, Junho asked who it was, only to find a sasaeng fan seated near the entrance to his home.
One time, I got home and as the elevator doors were opening, just before the sensor lights turned on, I heard someone call ‘oppa,’ which startled me. I tried to stay calm and asked who it was, and they replied, ‘Oppa, it’s me.’ A sasaeng fan was sitting in front of the box by the door.

When he questioned how the fan got there, they shockingly revealed that they had traveled from another country, believing that Junho had personally invited them. Despite the unnerving situation, Junho managed to resolve it peacefully, with the fan being handed over to his manager.
When I asked how they got there, they said they came from another country. They told me, ‘You said to come to your house.’ I was so shocked, realizing that they could actually come. Fortunately, nothing serious happened. I handed them over to my manager and that was the end of it.

Thankfully, the situation ended without escalation, but it highlights the extreme lengths some fans will go to in pursuit of their favorite idols.
