How far would you go to keep a secret? One idol went the extra mile to try to avoid media attention. Unfortunately, his plan backfired.
Daigo Nishihata, a member of the Japanese idol group Naniwa Danshi became wrapped up in dating allegations last summer. On August 9, 2023, the Shūkan Bunshun, a news outlet similar to Korea’s Dispatch, alleged that Daigo Nishihata was dating Kaho Adachi, an announcer two years his junior.
According to the article, the idol had spent a night with the announcer. The idol was photographed wearing a woman’s wig, bucket hat, and mask to conceal his identity. The photo and story ended up going viral in both Japan and Korea.
Where is Daigo Nishihata now? Over the past year, the idol has continued to promote and perform with Naniwa Danshi.
He also celebrated his 27th birthday…
