Aespa have proven to be not only a group full of crazy talented all-rounders, but are total trendsetters as well. In fact, Giselle even had non-fans asking for the ‘Giselle nails’!
The members of aespa have consistently raised the bar since making their impressive debut in 2020. Not only have they broken records left and right, but they are also changing the trajectory of the industry with their innovative AI concept. With their four ‘Ae’ members, aespa is a group like no other!
Yet, while they are revolutionizing the K-Pop and technology industry, aespa have proven they are also full-time fashion icons. While promoting their comeback, “Girls,” aespa guested on Super Junior Shindong‘s YouTube channel, where it was revealed that Giselle is in fact the star of a hot new trend.
At the beginning of the episode, Shindong took some time to do his usual ‘pre-research’ on his guests, which involves walking the streets of Seoul and interviewing fans and passers-by. He happened upon some fans who had seen his previous episode with NCT DREAM‘s Haechan, Chenle, and Mark.
As Shindong had ‘directed’ a promotional video for NCT DREAM’s “Beatbox” comeback, he asked the fans what they wanted to see in aespa’s episode. And seeing as he had (hilariously) filmed NCT DREAM’s feet for the “Beatbox” video, the fans asked Shindong to do something with aespa’s hands instead.
Shindong asked if he and aespa should go to get their nails done, and the fan revealed that Giselle is actually famous for her incredible nail art.
And it’s easy to see why! Giselle’s nails are always on point.
But there are two specific designs that seem to be particularly popular, and, in fact, are even recognized as the ‘Giselle nails.’ One of them is a light pink color under some fun silver-colored studs, while the other is a white or pink color under a painted design of barbed wire.
Fans have taken to the ‘Giselle nails’ trend, posting their awesome-looking results.
