Like the rest of BTS‘s wildly successful members, Jin is a multi-millionaire — but sometimes he seems to forget it!
Ever since Jin returned from the military, he has been entertaining fans with his solo spin-off of BTS’s beloved variety show, Run BTS! Like its predecessor, Run Jin includes special guests, competitive games, and prizes.
In Episode 6, The Prince of Tennis, Jin and his guest, actor Lee Yi Kyung, played tennis, and not just in the typical way. At one point, the staff set up boxes that contained presents for whoever hit them with a served tennis ball. Though it took a few tries, Jin finally hit what he believed to be the “most expensive” box. It was also the smallest.
Jin and Lee Yi Kyung shook the box, trying to guess what it contained. When Lee Yi Kyung guessed a “key,” Jin boldly declared that the key would belong to a car.
After all, the staff only prepares the best prizes…right?
Although Jin loves getting any free stuff, he was most excited about that little box. When the time came to open the presents, Jin saved the small box for last. Unfortunately, the reveal was a bit of a letdown. Instead of a car key, the box contained tennis-themed bubblegum. Needless to say, Jin was far from impressed!
