Recently, aespa’s Winter held a photo shoot and interview with Cosmopolitan, giving more insight into her thoughts on being a singer.
During the interview, she introduced herself as being the complete opposite on and off stage.
I am organized and rational when I am working. I plan where I need to be at what time about a week in advance, two days before at the latest, and also plan about 30 minutes for transportation. But when resting, I don’t plan anything and do everything spontaneously with friends.

She also confessed that she is a perfectionist in her work.
I tend to make a few mistakes. I have a perfectionist nature, which can be seen as an advantage and a disadvantage.
— Winter
She emphasized the importance of growth as the duty of a singer.
As singers, we should never forget our duty. I never miss my vocal or dance lessons, and I also practice on my own. Although I get stressed, whenever I feel like I’m lacking, I know that I can never show this side, so I work on it until I can do it.

Fans also praised her for her professionalism regarding performances.
We may perform many times on stage, but to some people, this could be the only stage they see. So it’s important that I do my best for every performance, as if it is my last. I never forget that my job is as a singer.
— Winter
She ended on a positive note, hoping to continue to be a better herself as a singer.
I have a lot of ambition, but I don’t want to fight and win against someone. I only want to fight with myself in order to grow one step further. I want to say that I am better than the Winter I was yesterday.
