New York Giants kicker Graham Gano was added to the injury report Saturday with a groin injury ahead of the Week 2 game against the Washington Commanders.
While Gano was added to the injury report, the Giants did not give him a designation, which means he’s still expected to play.
It’s always something to monitor whenever a player is added to the injury report over the weekend, but Gano seems to be good to go, especially since the Giants didn’t elevate kicker Jude McAtamney from the practice squad.
Unless it’s just a complete oversight that will come back to haunt the Giants, the team appears pretty confident their kicker will be able to go.
Gano was the source of the Giants offense in Week 1, knocking in both of his field-goal attempts from 23 and 50 yards, respectively, in the 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
