The Boston Red Sox were able to triumph against the Chicago White Sox in Trevor Story’s return 7-5. The offense was working tonight, and Tyler O’Neill and Romy Gonzalez were a big part of it.
Cooper Criswell was the starter tonight, and actually pitched an ok game. He gave up two runs in the first inning, but after that gave nothing up. The bullpen gave up another three runs on a homer by former Sox player Andrew Benintendi. After that, the bullpen was solid once again.
The offense was really working tonight, the first time in a while. They had 10 hits, and got scores from Romy Gonzalez, Trevor Story, Rob Refsnyder, and Connor Wong who all had one RBI. Tyler O’Neill had almost half of their RBIs, off a pair of homers to left field.
The Red Sox will play their final game against the White Sox and go for the sweep tomorrow at 1:35pm EST.
Tyler O’Neill. CRUSHED.
