Recently, makeup artist and influencer Risabae received criticism for her recent Instagram post with Stray Kids’ Felix.
She posted several photos with Felix and thanked him for inviting her to their concert.
I’m a happy Stay! The concert was really the best! Have a fun time time on your world tour. Thank you so much for inviting me.
— Risabae
She also posted a photo revealing her ticket that read, “September 1. Invited By Felix. Risabae.”
While most sent messages of support and were happy to see a successful fan, some criticized her behavior.
- “Unni, honestly, as a Stay, we aren’t happy to see this kind of feed. As fans, we stand in long lines under the sun all day and go through ticketing, while you, as an influencer, get to meet him easily up-close, take pictures, and get invited to shows. This reality brings deprivation to the fans. We can somehow understand a post about thanking him for the invitation, but posting pictures with him is really…I know that you didn’t post it to brag…but….I felt great after the concert…but thanks to you I’ve realized that a fan and an idol’s relationship is only so much, so I don’t feel so great…I beg you..please refrain from posting things like this…”
- “I agree. There’s too much of an ulterior motive. Crossing the boundaries doesn’t look good.”
- “This old person we can’t stand is already crossing boundaries. It’s ridiculous.”
- “If she’s just a fan and Felix wants to date her, you’re not the person to decide that.”
- “I mean, would he really want to date someone who’s almost 40? They’re not kids; girl, just leave. You coming here and doing the unthinkable… what kind of nonsense is this? Dating with an old woman…please.”
- “Are you dating Yongbok? Most normal people invited by the members usually are their girlfriends…guess they are dating.”
Korean netizens who saw this were appalled at the fans’ trolling behavior.
- “They’re more than 12 years apart, and Risabae just sees him as an idol, and Felix sees her as just a YouTuber. What’s with all these overreactions.”
- “They have a huge age gap, and she sees him as a brother. What’s with everyone?”
- “People who are into K-Pop literally have no guy friends and just can’t take it when they’re faves are with the opposite gender.”
- “How is taking a picture together crossing boundaries? Everyone’s gone crazy.”
- “Everyone is out of their minds…if they don’t like it why don’t they become an influencer and meet him then.”
- “F*cking hate people like this.”
- “Totally hate people who are obsessed with men.”
- “Ah what’s with everyone.”
Previously, she posted a video revealing that she had finally become a successful fangirl.
