In an interview with ELLE Korea, (G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi shared the harsh working conditions that K-Pop idols endure during a comeback.
She revealed that on the very first day, they “start moving without any sleep” and head to the salon at 1 A.M.
It takes around 3 hours for all 5 members to finish up at the salon.
They leave for the broadcasting station around 4 A.M. and arrive at 5 or 6 A.M., allowing the members to finally get a little bit of sleep.
All of their rehearsals take around 2 hours.
After that, they sometimes have to film content during their schedule and then get a quick break for two hours.
At 10 A.M., they have to film more content which can include a VCR.
By the afternoon, they do live music shows and interviews and finish up around 7 or 8 P.M.
However, that’s not the end! Often, they have fan signing events that can end around 9 or 10 P.M.
From there, it’s finally time to go home and shower. Yuqi does her skincare routine, massage, and gets ready for bed.
She then lays in bed for an hour monitoring her performance and content for the day, thinking of ways she can improve for tomorrow. Finally, she falls asleep around 11 P.M. and repeats the process by waking up around 2 or 3 A.M.
