A notorious “wrecker” YouTube channel has found itself at the center of the clash between Korean men and the internet amid the shocking Telegram-based digital sex crimes that shook the nation.
PPKKa, a far-right YouTuber with 1.19M followers—whose channel thrives on anti-feminist propaganda-like “tea” content, uploaded a video talking about the recent discoveries of “humiliation rooms” and deepfake porn with a total of more than 212,000 participants.
In this video, the YouTuber mocked the women speaking out about the deepfake digital sex crimes, stating that they are “making a fuss” over nothing. The entire video focused on fueling the gender conflict in Korea and inciting hatred to increase his viewership.
Post shown in video: “I took down all the pictures with my face in them from my Instagram. Women, you have to make your accounts private or delete your faces. From what I heard, they target not only your feeds, but highlights, stories, and blogs, too.”
PPKKa’s comment: “Posts like this one, making a big f*cking fuss out of it, are going viral.”
But the real clash took place when a X (former Twitter) user, (cat), who has been one of the most active voices in bringing the issue into the public eye, explained that their tweet has been used in PPKKa’s video.
When (cat) expressed fear at the possible doxxing and harassment…
저 솔직히 지금 다른 분들처럼 신상 털려서 딥페이크 당하고 막 찾아와서 괴롭히고 폭행할까봐 너무나 무섭습니다..

Dear Korean feminists, I have been featured on PPKKa’s YouTube channel for bringing the deepfake issue into the public eye. I cannot delete or private my account because of the hashtag campaign I organized on Sunday.
So, even if I get doxxed and you find out that I am far from perfect, please know that I have been working hard for women’s rights.
Honestly, I’m very scared right now. I’m afraid that, like others, my personal information will be exposed, and I’ll be used in a deepfake video, get harassed, or even get assaulted…

…women from all over the world came together in the comment section under PPKKa’s video, condemning the Telegram chatroom participants, calling the YouTuber out for his toxic behavior, and reporting his channel.
At the same time, the newest comments—assumed to be from the same Korean men in the Telegram rooms—continue to clap back at the flood of support for the Korean women. Some believe that the English comments are Koreans pretending to be foreigners, while others insist that PPKKa is right and that the deepfake chatroom scandal is not as big of an issue as it sounds.

As PPKKa’s channel has turned into a battleground over the deepfake chatroom scandal, (cat) has reached out to @TeamYouTube for help.
@TeamYouTube Please save me. My tweet was recorded as a video on the YouTube channel of a famous anti-feminist in South Korea
I’ve been accused of being a feminist and put in danger for speaking out against deepfake sexual assault. In Korea, feminists can be publicly threatened https://t.co/A4dWI7SkTM pic.twitter.com/oPphic733n
