After a near two-week stretch of high-intensity baseball, the 2024 Little League World Series is set to draw to a close.
Florida and Chinese Taipei will battle in the LLWS championship game on Sunday afternoon from South Williamsport, Pa., with first pitch slated for 3 p.m. ET.
The squad form Lake Mary, Fla., won the U.S. bracket with an emphatic, come-from-behind victory over Boerne, Texas, on Saturday. Lake Mary scored nine runs across the last two innings, staving off a comeback effort from Boerne to punch its ticket with a 10-7 win.
Kuei-Shan Little League from Taoyuan, Taiwan, bested Venezuela, 4-1, to win the international title. Starting pitcher Lai Cheng-Xi struck out 12 batters in a dominant performance.
