The Seattle Seahawks have been subjected to a lot of disrespect this offseason when it comes to the national media and their expectations for this team in 2024. Power rankings, positional rankings, and projections for this young and hungry team all seem to be on the negative side compared with what we’re expecting from them.
Pro Football Focus has been one of the worst offenders all year, as they have consistently underrated this Seattle team and what it’s capable of. Their fantasy rankings for the regular season to come are another example. Here’s where PFF has every fantasy-relevant Seahawks player placed heading into the 2024 according to their top 400 rankings.
Seahawks 2024 PFF fantasy rankings
– WR DK Metcalf: 34
– RB Ken Walker: 53
– WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 82
– WR Tyler Lockett: 108
– RB Zach Charbonnet: 116
– QB Geno Smith: 158
– TE Noah Fant: 190
– K Jason Myers: 240
– Seahawks D/ST: 307
– QB Sam Howell: 336
– RB Kenny McIntosh: 357
– WR Jake Bobo: 378
Tough scene. As far as sleeper potential goes, our best estimate is quarterback Geno Smith and the defense/special teams unit are your best bets. The projections for both look a little bit low on paper and if the new coaching staff – namely offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and head coach Mike Macdonald – are as good as advertised they should have no trouble outperforming them.
