OG K-Pop star G-DRAGON is set to make a comeback. According to Korean media outlets, he is currently preparing for a concert in November at the Gocheok Sky Dome, one of the largest venues in South Korea!
The Gocheok Sky Dome can accommodate around 16,000 people and is one of the few venues in Seoul that can host large-scale events due to the remodeling of other venues such as the KSPO Dome and the Jamsil Main Stadium. The Seoul World Cup Stadium is the largest at 60,000 capacity, but singers prefer to book indoor venues due to issues with the grassy fields.
According to the media, he has already booked the venue for his dates and is preparing for the concert. His agency, Galaxy Corporation, has stated that “he is preparing for a comeback in the second half of 2024, but nothing is confirmed” G-DRAGON himself has also hinted multiple times that his solo comeback will be coming soon. He once replied to a fan in June 2024 that fans would be able to see him as an artist again soon.
Ahead of the comeback, he previously received all trademark rights for “G-DRAGON,” “GD,” and other related names from YG Entertainment. It was stated that YG Entertainment‘s Yang Hyun Suk transferred the trademark rights to G-DRAGON without asking for financial compensation
