Levi Colwill insists Chelsea are moving in the right direction despite a tricky start to life under head coach Enzo Maresca.

Those games have placed the Chelsea defence under particular scrutiny but Colwill, who started both games on the left-hand side of defence, believes important building blocks are being laid down as the squad acclimatises to Maresca’s signature high possession, high pressing style.
