It’s showtime for Simone Biles, who worked hard to overcome her mental health struggles and position herself for a spot on the USA Olympic women’s gymnastics team this year.
Biles has six medal events lined up before the end of the Summer Games in Paris, and she’s hoping to prove that age is just a number.
Once a young superstar who won gold in the all-around competition in 2016, Biles has embraced her role as the experienced leader of yet another talented U.S. squad. While leadership is one aspect of her work at the 2024 Olympics, that doesn’t mean she can’t still be one of the very best gymnasts in Paris.
