Not to be confused with the 2018 K-Drama with the same name, this ENA series follows two fathers, a judge and a crime boss, who will go to extremes if it means protecting their families.
4. The Tyrant – August 12
Kim Seon Ho makes his highly anticipated comeback alongside Cha Seung Won, Kim Kang Woo, and Jo Yoon Su in this Disney+ series about the race to find a stolen bioweapon. If you like political thrillers mixed with science fiction, this show is for you!
5. Perfect Family – August 14
In this KBS2 thriller based on a webtoon of the same name, a seemingly perfect suburban family begins to fall apart after a man is murdered. Secrets will be revealed as the family struggles to keep their perfect mask intact.
6. Black Out – August 16
This MBC thriller follows two men–a man convicted of murdering two girls as a teen and a former detective–as a massive black out afflicts their city. Together, they try to uncover the truth about what really happened on the day of the murders ten years ago, among other things.
7. DNA Lover – August 17
This TV Chosun romance follows a geneticist who decides to find herself a genetically compatible partner after she and her philandering boyfriend break up. Do soulmates really exist, and if so, can they be found through science?
8. Love Next Door – August 17
This Netflix series is a light-hearted romance about two childhood frienemies who reunite as adults as neighbors. Expect rom-com shenanigans and classic K-Drama comedy with this must-watch show.
9. Cinderella At 2 AM – August 24
Based on a webtoon, this Cinderella retelling follows the successful brand marketing manager of a credit card company, who doesn’t believe in fairytales.
