Days after convening for training camp, the United States Women’s National Team is set to take the floor for its second and final exhibition game before heading to Paris for the 2024 Olympics.
After losing to Team WNBA in Saturday’s All-Star Game, Team USA is back in action Tuesday when it faces Germany at London’s O2 Arena. It’s a quick turnaround for the Americans, who made their way to Europe after playing Saturday night’s game in Phoenix.
While Team USA is learning one another on the fly, it has more than enough talent to figure things out in real-time. Led by recent MVPs A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, the group is in search of an eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal.
