Aespa‘s Karina experienced a wardrobe malfunction during the group’s concert in Japan, prompting fans to call out the stylist and demand urgent action from SM Entertainment to prevent future incidents.
On July 14, the girls held their 2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : Parallel Line – in JAPAN at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama. Although the event seemed to be proceeding smoothly, Karina’s sudden wardrobe malfunction caused shock and unease.
In one fan-taken photo, Karina is seen tightly clutching her top with one hand to prevent it from falling open. Despite the uncomfortable situation, she remained professional and continued performing admirably.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Karina’s stage outfits have posed a safety risk. Previously, her outfit was found to have a sewing needle still attached, dangerously close to piercing her skin.
On another occasion, she had visible red marks on various parts of her skin, possibly caused by ill-fitting clothing—an easily preventable issue.

They stressed how today’s incident highlights the precarious nature of the situation for Karina. While she was fortunate to notice the wardrobe malfunction in time, such issues should never occur in the first place.
