Netizens believe HyunA has removed alleged lip-fillers after recent videos and photos.
One of HyunA’s most recognizable features is her large and plump lips.
On July 6, HyunA participated in the 2024 Waterbomb event in Seoul.
Aside from her performance, the official Waterbomb account shared a video of HyunA that sparked a debate. In the clip, the idol introduced herself and the event she was performing at.
Yet, the reason it gained attention was that Korean netizens believed HyunA’s lips were a lot thinner than previously seen.
Even in her Instagram photos, HyunA showcased her “sexy” look, and it seemed evident that her lips seemed much thinner than in past photos or performances.
While it was never confirmed that HyunA had lip fillers, many netizens noticed the drastic difference between her past photos and the ones from Waterbomb. On a Korean forum, netizens pointed it out and had very different thoughts about the new “look” of the idol.
- She looks like she did during her 4Minute days.
- The problem isn’t the lip filler; her entire face looks damaged, probably due to side effects of cosmetic surgery.
- Guys, HyunA is 33 now. Are you still talking about her debut days and surgery side effects? Do you think people in their 30s look the same as in their 20s? She’s just aging naturally.
- She doesn’t look pretty even without fillers.
- Thin lips suit HyunA much better.
- Just removing the fillers makes her look much better.
While idols getting plastic surgery isn’t uncommon or unheard of, it’s not often that netizens see a huge reversal in procedures, and the change in HyunA’s lips was dramatic.
