A disturbing video of a young man behaving inappropriately with a female idol’s album has recently gone viral, sparking outrage among Chinese netizens.
In the short clip, he is seen holding two K-Pop albums, one of which is a solo version of NMIXX‘s Lily with her face printed on it. After a split second, he brings the albums close to his private part and proceeds to rub himself on it, all while making repulsive facial expressions.
In the end, he gives Lily’s album a kiss and puts it back on the shelf.
The video quickly circulated on Weibo, with users identifying the location as Five Music in Tainan. Netizens have since called for the protection of idols from such disrespectful behavior. The original post that drew attention to this incident read, “Doing something like this in public and then posting it online is so disgusting. And he even put it back? Please respect idols.”
