New York Yankees star outfielder Juan Soto was scratched from the starting lineup Saturday afternoon against the Toronto Blue Jays due to a hand bruise.
After brutal 9-3 loss on the road, manager Aaron Boone updated the media on the severity of Soto’s injury after he had imaging during Saturday’s game.
Boone said the X-rays on Soto’s hand came back negative and is likely day-to-day.

It appears to be inflammation that is bothering Soto, and no further tests are scheduled right now.
