Hannah Bahng is a soloist and YouTube content creator with almost two million subscribers. She is also known among K-Pop fans as the sister of Stray Kids‘ leader Bang Chan.
In an interview with the Zach Sang Show, she was asked, “When you’re putting out your own original music, are you nervous because people are going to compare you to him and everything he’s done?”
Her answer was a confident “No.” Contrary to what some may expect, she is not pressured when she releases music despite her relationship with a world-famous K-Pop idol. This, she says, is because their music styles are night and day.
No, because I think that the music that we make is so different. It’s so different it’s really hard to compare.

Hannah’s songs are more on the mellow and emotional side, releasing songs such as “Pomegranate,” “Perfect Blues,” “Abysmal,” and more.
Bang Chan, meanwhile, has perfected the “dark and experimental” hip hop that Stray Kids is known for.
She added that her brother’s music style and hers are so different that “it’s like comparing your mom and dad.”
To bring this point home, she revealed that Bang Chan has no say in her music and vice versa.
He doesn’t hear any of my music until it comes out. He hears it when all the fans hear it. We both kind of mutually agreed to do it that way. We both have a deep understanding of the respect for music that we have. And we understand how important it is to us.

Fans in the comments section agreed with her wholeheartedly. They hoped that she will one day be known for her own talents than just who she is related to.
