Over the last few months, LE SSERAFIM have faced vast non-constructive criticism following their live vocals controversy.
The youngest member, Eunchae, has dealt with an influx of hate on even her personal Instagram account. While it primarily began following the group’s Coachella performance, netizens have continually attacked the young star.
Fans Come To LE SSERAFIM Eunchae’s Defense As Her Instagram Continues To Get Flooded With Hate Comments
Recently, a legendary singer’s words hinting at the issues left Eunchae in tears.
Eunchae hosts Eunchae’s Star Diary, a YouTube program in which she interviews guests performing during that particular week of Music Bank, where she is an MC.
For this week’s episode, Eunchae interviews Kim Yonja, a singer and actress celebrating her 50th year in the industry.
Despite her nerves, Eunchae is able to get the interview started without any issues. From the start, Kim Yonja is very complimentary to Eunchae, praising her visuals and setting her at ease.
During the fan request portion of the interview, Eunchae reads a message that asks Kim Yonja to offer the LE SSERAFIM member some words of advice and a hug, as she got her start in the industry at 15 years old also.
Kim Yonja first says that she is jealous that Eunchae is so loved by fans that they would ask for this.
Kim Yonja tells Eunchae that she sings and dances well and that she should do everything with confidence. She also says that the most important thing is that Eunchae has the love of the other members and fans, adding that she believes Eunchae’s future is bright.
Eunchae begins crying at this point, unable to hold back her emotions.
After giving her a hug, Kim Yonja offers more advice, saying that she should fully let out her emotions. Kim Yonja says that even if she has shortcomings, she can improve them and that even after fifty years she is still improving herself.
She also remarks that there will always be things that cause worry, but that occasional self-reflection could be done, rather that focusing on just that.
With the hard times she has dealt with, it was nice to see Eunchae get this kind of advice!
