The Brahmas may have lost that regular season contest, but they can end the Battlehawks’ season in the very same building and clinch a spot in next week’s UFL Championship with a win in Sunday’s conference title game.
A.J. McCarron and the Battlehawks’ offense isn’t used to scoring only 13 points, as they did last week. It was St. Louis’ lowest output of the season; in fact, the Battlehawks have scored at least 25 points in six of their 10 games this season.
Defense has been the focal point all season long for the Brahmas. It was nearly enough to knock off the Battlehawks on the road in the regular season finale. Could some tweaks be enough to walk away with the win on Sunday, with the stakes much higher?
The winner of Sunday’s playoff battle will meet the Birmingham Stallions, who finished with the UFL’s best record and hung 31 points on the Panthers in Saturday’s USFL Conference title game.
